Get the party started faster with our Select Grade Washed Live Crawfish. This full-sized sack is perfect for large family boils and neighborhood gatherings. By choosing our "Select" grade, you are getting hand-sorted, larger crawfish that provide the best meat-to-shell ratio and that classic yellow "fat" everyone craves.

These crawfish have been pre-washed to remove the heavy pond mud and grass, meaning less time cleaning at the hose and more time around the boiling pot.

 Handling & Storage Instructions

To ensure your crawfish stay healthy and active until they hit the water:

  • Airflow is Key: Keep the sack in a cool, shaded area. If using a cooler, keep the lid cracked and the drain plug open. They are live animals and require oxygen.

  • Temperature: Place a bag of ice on top of the sack, but ensure the melted water can drain away. Do not let the crawfish sit submerged in standing water, as they will drown.

  • Timing: For the best results, pick up your crawfish as close to your boil time as possible.


 Health & Safety Warnings

  • Shellfish Allergen: This product contains Crustacean Shellfish.

  • Consumer Advisory: Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.

  • Cooking Safety: Crawfish must be boiled until the meat is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.

  • The "Straight Tail" Rule: Always discard any crawfish that are dead before cooking.
