• Field Run: The true "bayou style" mix. This is a natural, unsorted blend of small, medium, and large crawfish. It’s perfect for a traditional boil where you want a variety of sizes and the best overall value.

• Boat Selects: The "Premium Catch" tier. These are hand-sorted on the boat to ensure a consistent, larger-than-average size. You get fewer smalls and more meat per tail, making them the ideal choice for a high-quality "sit-down" boil experience.

• Selects: The "Gold Standard." These are the largest, hard-shell crawfish available, specifically sorted for size and quality. If you want the biggest "mudbugs" with the most impressive presentation for your backyard boil, this is the top-tier choice.

Handling & Storage

Keep Them Breathing: Crawfish are live animals. Store them in a cool, shaded area (like a cooler) with the lid cracked.

Stay Cool, Not Cold: Keep them between 36°F and 46°F. Place an unopened bag of ice on top of the sack, but ensure they are not submerged in standing water, as they will drown.

Cook Same Day: For the best experience, we recommend boiling your crawfish the same day they arrive.

Important Warnings & Information

The "Straight Tail" Rule: After boiling, discard any crawfish with a straight tail. A curled tail is a sign the crawfish was alive and healthy at the time of cooking.
