Portico Classic Seafood US Farm-Raised Catfish fillets are heart-healthy and protein-rich. Catfish fillets are mild-flavored and firm-textured, making them well-suited for any recipe.
Each fillet is deboned and has the belly flap (nugget) removed.
• Contain 15-pound bulk packed case of individually quick-frozen fillets
• Corrugated cardboard box with liner bag
• 26 to 34 fillets per case
• Fillets range from 7 to 9 ounces
• Belly flap (nugget) removed from the fillet
• Natural shaped fillet
• Sixty (60) 4-ounce average servings per case
• Up to 12% water and the salt solution added by injection
• Individually quick frozen
• Ice glazed to retain moisture
• Thaw fish in the refrigerator overnight
• Season to taste. Sautee over medium heat for 8 – 10 minutes. Cook to an internal temperature of 145°F
• Store at -10°F to 0°F
• Use within two (2) days of thawing
• Best if used by one year from pack date
• Keep frozen until ready to use
• Thaw before preparing
• Manufacture on date in the format of Pack Date MMDDYY
